when adding a new landing page in webportal shows error "Error fetching fields for the data source"

I created a landing page in web portal control and added it to navigation. In the harness of that landing embedded a simple section with only hardcoded data but still threw this error.

"Error fetching fields for the data source. Error: request failed with status code 404" LoanSamplePage is the landing page created

LoanSamplePage is the new landing page created.
