What is the use of these OOTB database tables: pc_work_notification and pr_data_notification_recipient
We have to purge all the notification records from the data table, however we are not sure why there are 2 OOTB tables present for notification? What's there purpose.I have to prepare an analysis on the usage of these 2 tables mentioned above.Why pega has 2 notification tables,can we purge all the details from these tables etc.

This all are the four linked table which Pega internally to handle Pulse and Notification related process. These all 4 tables are tightly coupled, so you would not be able to flush 2 tabled data alone. So please do some analysis more and then purge/archive the data based on business need. If the date was partially deleted from any few tables, then Pulse and Notification for the inflight transactions will not work as expected.
