What is the relation between an assignment shape harness and the flow action connector within a case flow

Hi!

I am trying to route the work to the current operator by using an assignment shape & defining a harness in it.  Within the harness, I use a button with a Finish Assignment - move forward action, and I want the user to click the button to continue the next flow.  But I am not clear how to set up the relation between the assignment harness and the flow action section.  (Why we need 2 different sections, and how to make the current user take this action) 

Can you please help me with this question?
