What is the effect of Roles for the System Runtime Context tab?

Hi I was wondering what is the effect of the Roles column on System Runtime Context tab?

 

What is there effect in regards to Queue Processors. For example, what would change if I were to add another role here?

Would my QP gain more privileges? or is this not related. 

 

I'm currently trying give give my QP more privileges to run rules from certain classes, hence the question mentioned above.
