What is the difference between AuthenticationLDAPWebVerifyCredentials and AuthenticationLDAPVerifyCredentials ?
I was trying to configure the Authentication activity for LDAP in PEGA but was a bit confused, so as to what are the differences between the AuthenticationLDAPWebVerifyCredentials and AuthenticationLDAPVerifyCredentials properties ?

Thanks for posting on PSC.
I have reviewed both the activities in Pega 7.3.1 line by line and could observe that "AuthenticationLDAPVerifyCredentials" does have additional logic for setting up/configuring context environment to authenticate the user found(Review Step2: JAVA) and also checks for whether operator exists or not and password matches or not.
"AuthenticationLDAPWebVerifyCredentials" doesn't verify the password, It just checks whether the user is found in LDAP directory.
You can use, "AuthenticationLDAPVerifyCredentials" activity if you want to verify the user availability and credentials as well.
