Validating Page Property in Validation Rule causing PRRuntimeException

Hi there,

In Pega 7.17, When Validating a Page Property in Validation Rule is Working absolutely fine in Private Checkout. But, When it is checked-in, encountering "PRRuntimeException" when we hit flow action submit.

In Validation rule, under Property column, giving the Page Property name with dot notation and under Conditions, calling the validation rule of that belongs to data class of the page property

In tracer, I could see "Type Mismatch: Cannot convert string to ClipboardProperty" errors. PFA screenshot of the same.

Any suggestion to resolve this is highly appreciated.

Upon reviewing the corresponding SR, we see that it has been resolved. SA-28950 was created as a result of the investigation. Please reference that if you have the same question.

Thanks for posting your issue in PSC.

I find this would need investigation. Kindly raise a Support request with Pega Global Customer Support(GCS) mentioning the Pega version used at your end. Also, mention the validate rule used for check-out and check-in.
