Using multiple Cassandra Hosts in DDS behaves how?

When using Pega CDH 8.2, and configuring the Cassandra host(s), if I put in multiple hosts, will it be a round robin spreading the data, or will it replicate to all of them (basically creating redundancy between Cass instances)?
