Dear support team,

we are currently evaluating whether it´s possible to integrate a Kinesis data set in our Pega Plattform which is hosted in the Pega cloud. I found the following documentation:

This documentation states "For Pega Cloud applications, you can use a Pega-provided Kinesis data stream or connect to your own Kinesis data stream." 

However when I tried to create a Kinesis data set as suggested in this doc I realized that in step 5 the doc states:

"5. In the Connection section, configure the connection to your AWS Kinesis instance:

Note: This step is not available if your Pega Platform application is hosted in a Pega Cloud environment (the onPegaCloud dynamic system setting is set to true) and you use Pega-provided Kinesis data stream."

And in fact I was not able to save my test data set because of this error message:

The question is: Aren´t the two statements I marked as bold contradictionary since this step is not available which means I can not connect to my own AWS Kinesis data stream? Or how can I use / integrate an AWS Kinesis data stream inside our Pega Platform (on the Pega Cloud)? Only by modifying the mentioned dynamic system setting onPegaCloud (which is not supposed to be changed I guess)? 

Edit: I just realized that the documentation is only meant for decisioning hub. So is it even possible to use it i.e. on the Pega Platform only?
