use jsp tag in field value rule

I am trying to use jsp tag in field value but it looks like the syntax I am using is interpreted as a text rather than executable code.
Here is what I am trying to execute:
<pega:include name="ApprovalCounter" type="Rule-HTML-Section"/>

Could you please advise on this one?

Hello,

Why do you need to put it on a field value ? What do you mean exactly by field value ? Can't you just use a Label value (cell properties) instead, see my example below:

This can work. It is more like work around.

The original question was more about field value rule not interpreting special characters.
