Upgrade & tomcat installation Guide for PEGA-8.8

In-order to migrate from websphere to Tomcat & for further installation of PEGA-8.8 in tomcat infra.., is it possible to share the Tomcat configuration & PEGA upgradation guide from PEGA-7.4 to PEGA-8.8

Hi @vigneshs6567 ,

 

please refer below documentation from page 21 for tomcat configuration:

 

 

Note: installing Tomcat is same for all the pega version.

 

 

For upgrading PEGA-7.4 to PEGA-8.8, you can choose below methods:

  1. In-place upgrade.
  2. Take product file.

 

In-place upgrade:

  • where you use pega platform installation GUI.
  • select upgrade option to do direct upgrade from from 7.4 to 8.8

Note: Please take backup before upgrade and read a documentation 

 

Take Product File:

  • where you can take product file of your 'xyz application'.
  • Install Pega platform 8.8.3.
  • Import your product file.
