Updating Oracle tables using PEGA

I am new to the PEGA platform and I am looking to find out the capabilities with regards to Oracle databases. I have seen that there are connect-sql rules and wanted to know if this is the way that you can update tables using the data input into the PEGA application.

Any help and pointers to guides will be greatly appreciated

Hi ,

In Pega data holds in BLOB.

Different mechanisms are available for database operations such as obj methods in activity can be used for extract, insert, delete, update.

 

Report definitions are used to fetch data from blob .

 

Bix is used for business analysis.

 

Connect-SQL method is in use for external database operation in association with RDB methods to execute complex queries.
