Update from Pega 8.5 to Pega 8.8

Client is on-prem using Oracle Weblogic Server version 12.1.3., is updating to Pega 8.8, can they keep using the current weblogic version or need to update Oracle Weblogic version to 12.2.1? In the platform support guide its blank for Pega 8.8 for Oracle Weblogic Server version 12.1.3, which I understand mens, it has not been certified by Pega, do you see any major issues? I am trying to minimize the infrastructure changes with the upgrade, as they are already having to update Oracle DB to 19c to support Pega 8.8.

@AtanuS17  Hi Anush , Did you upgrade pega 8.5 to 8.8 ? If Yes , Can you pls share articles/documents you referred for PEGA upgrade? I tried multiple PDN articles but couldnt find exact steps.

It is recommended to use Pega certified versions of application servers. In case of any issues, it will be difficult to get support.

 

Oracle Weblogic Server version 12.1.3  is not certified by Pega for Pega 8.8
