Update disabled field
Iam having a disabled field in the main section and the same field as editable in the modal dialog box.
When I update that field in the modal dialog box with the main section being kept opened and then I'm submitting the modal dialog box, the field is not updated as it's disabled.Need to update the disabled field in main section.

The problem is that when a field is marked as "disabled" in Pega, it doesn’t save or update its value because disabled fields are excluded from form submissions. That’s why the change you make in the modal doesn’t reflect in the main section. To fix this, don’t use the “disable” option. Instead, make the field “read-only” using a condition like “Always” or based on some logic. A read-only field still shows as uneditable to the user, but it stays in sync with the clipboard and updates correctly. This way, when you change the value in the modal and submit, the main section will show the updated value even though it's not editable
