Update a Case in Implementation Layer from Enterprise Layer

HI, I need to update a case in Implementation Layer from Enterprise Layer. We have a Kafka Topic configured in Enterprise layer, when we receive a message we need to update a case type in the implementation layer. However we are able to create new case using hte DCR, but update is not working.

Please help us with the solution. 

Also, let us know if there are OOTB REST servi ce that can update the case from Enterprise Layer.
