Unrecognized guid format in visual studio 2015

PEGA Robotics - I'm getting an "Unrecognized Guid format" error when I try to open my project in Visual Studio 2015 on a Windows 10 machine.

Have you attempted to edit any of the OS or other solution files in a text editor? It also might have happened if you performed a merge of some sort with your source control provider. Do you have a prior version of the solution that you can compare to the current one? You can use a tool like WinMerge to see the differences between each of the files.
