Unable to open private shared memory error in RDA automation

Hello All,

My team has recently taken over the maintenance of existing desktop automations, and a user has reported an issue that they experienced before, but there is no documentation on the problem.

The bot is attempting to open an excel file, and is getting the Unable to open shared memory error. Verify that service 'Openspan Services' is running. It appears a start method on an adapter is throwing the error.

The exact error is attached (sorry it is small).

Please let me know if anyone can give some insight.

If you are using a StartMethod other than Start on any adapter, then the OpenSpan Services are required. Check your services control panel to make sure it is running (Start-->Run-->services.msc). If you elected not to install them during the install, then you will need to re-install.
