Unable to interrogate search results from a web page
Hi,
I'd like to get search results from Yahoo Finance.
I looked at the page's HTML and created a Match Rule to interrogate one of them (Previous Close) but it doesn't work.
Are there any other ways to do that?

Couple of ways to do this using the table designer. Here is the search result for PEGA.
Each column interrogates as a separate table. Select the "HTML Table Designer" in the Interrogation Form window, the one with the target circles. Drop the target over a value in column one (e.g. Open). The table designer will be displayed.
Select all of the items in the first column, right click, Define Match Cell(s). This will highlight the cells in blue. Next select all of the items in the second column, right click, Define Data Cell(s). This will highlight the cells in green. You can now rename items in the Table Schema section.
Couple of ways to do this using the table designer. Here is the search result for PEGA.

This time select the two cells in the top row, right click and select "Define Table Section". Next select the two cells within the new table selection, right click, select Define Data Cell(s). Rename the first cell to dcLabel and the second cell as dcValue. Now click the Apply Changes. You table should look like this.
You can rename the table and table section as noted above.
You can access the data in this table using a loop in an automation, accessing the label and value columns.

Under the bulls-eye there is a dropdown with other options to interrogate controls. One of the other options is "Select Element". Get as close to the control as possible and drop the bulls-eye on it. This should show you a menu list of the tags immediately above it...
If you cannot get the control with that... you can try going to the Web Controls tab on the Adapter. Here, you can list the controls available, filter to the control and find the one you're looking for!
