Unable to generate DDL schema for BIX extract rule

Hi All,

We are unable to generate DDL schema for BIX extract rule. It is giving below error in log files when perform extract.

2015-12-23 12:44:33,845 [ PegaRULES-Batch-3] [ MGLBIX:01.09.01] ( internal.access.ExtractImpl) INFO pegabixuser - Bypassing MGL-BFS-Data-Party (not writable)

2015-12-23 12:44:33,845 [ PegaRULES-Batch-3] [ MGLBIX:01.09.01] ( internal.access.ExtractImpl) ERROR pegabixuser - No valid extract rules found

Please let me know if any one have any idea about this.

Some more details are required here

1) Which version of Pega platform is this?

2) Which version of BIX?

3) Is the DDL being generated using the run button in the ruleform?

The following statement

Bypassing MGL-BFS-Data-Party (not writable)

means that there are cannot be instances of this class in the DB. Are you sure you have instances of this class in the DB? If yes, please check which table this class is mapped to and how instances are present.

1) Which version of Pega platform is this?

7.1.8

2) Which version of BIX?

Pega-BIX:07-10-17

3) Is the DDL being generated using the run button in the ruleform?

Yes.

For MGL-BFS-Data-Party we don't have any instances and also there is no data base table mapped to it. Is this the case for this issue?

Hi Hari Krishna,

I am assuming that your extract rule is defined (applies to class) on "MGL-BFS-Data-Party" and since this class cannot have instances, BIX is skipping this and not generating any DDL.

Yes you are correct. After mapping the data base table to MGL-BFS-Data-Party its working. Thanks a lot for quick response.
