Unable to find the Excel connector in Pega Robotic studio
I am unable to add the Excel connector from the toolbox and also I have tried searching for it in Global cache and its not showing up in Microsoft office category. I have latest office 2013 version installed. Kindly help me out in this problem.

The Office dlls should be placed in the Pega Robotics installation folder.

Did you install the Office support when you installed Studio? This is required. The connector is found in the Pega Robotics Connectors section of the Toolbox.
If for some reason it is no longer there, right click on the Toolbox and select Choose Items. This will bring up a dialog to add the connector to the Toolbox.
Note that the OpenSpan.Office assembly must be present - this is installed when you add Microsoft Office support at install time.

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for your response. I installed office 2013 after I installed studio, since I had office 2007 version which normally doesn't supports EXcel connector.
Do you think that is the problem which is not allowing the studio to recognize the connector??

The version of Office you have installed on your machine must match the support you have installed with Robotics Studio. If you re-install Studio with Office 2013 support you should be fine.

The issue got resolved and I just copied the Office 2013 dll's to their root folder.

The install folder for 8.0 contains sub-folders with the dlls for each version of Office.
Copy the contents of the correct sub-folder into the root folder to switch versions.

Hi Jeff. When i try to add the DLLs from the directory : 'C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSpan\OpenSpan Studio for Microsoft Visual Studio 2015\Office2013'. I get the error below :
even after this the dll componenets are loaded and are visisble in the tool box, but when I try to add them in the automation , doesnt work.
Please help.

1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSpan\OpenSpan Plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio 2015\Office2016
2. Copy all the dll''s within Office2016 and past it outside the "Office2016" folder
3. Right click on the Toolbox and select Choose Items. This will bring up a dialog to add the connector to the Toolbox.
