Unable to download Clipboard page to CSV

I have written as activity where we are getting some values on to clipboard and trying to download same to an CSV file. For downloading we are using pxConvertResultsToCSV activity.

When i tried to run this activity on button, the file is not getting downloaded but when i tried to run the activity alone the file is getting downloaded. Kindly suggest on this.
