unable to delete RSV in 6.3 SP1 version.

Hi,

I am unable to delete the rule set version using the wizard.

Pega -> System -> Tools -> Refactor RuleSets -> Delete a RuleSet.

After clicking on the delete button by selecting the RS and version the progress bar showing 0%.

Also sharing the log exceptions below. Please provide the setting changes for this.

Thanks Mahesh for your reply. I did the changes as suggested (created DSS    prconfig/initialization/childrequestors/uselightweightauth/default -> false).

Still getting the same exception in the logs.

Instead of updating the prconfig.xml, i have created a DSS setting and set the value to 'false'.

But still i am facing the same issue.

Hi Veera,

It looks like there is a call to getAuthentication() which is returning Null for some reason. Which in itself seems odd as this call should have already completed successfully a number of times before you reach step 13 of Rule- Delete.

Also, when I tried this in my environment I didn't reach this particular step, so there must be something different.

Is it possible this is trying to delete a rule which is in your ruleset version, but you don't have access for some reason (class restricted?)

Does the same problem happen if you try to delete the ruleset version with a user/access group associated with the PegaRULES:SysAdm4 role?

Hi Laurence,

I don't see any class restriction for the rules in the ruleset versions. It happens for every ruleset and version in our application.

I can delete the ruleset using the wizard if any rsv is only empty.

Does the same problem happen if you try to delete the ruleset version with a user/access group associated with the PegaRULES:SysAdm4 role?

-Yes, the problem happens with the SysAdm4 role. My developer user id does has this access role.
