Unable to connect to database Error while installing the PEGA personal edition 8.1

I am getting this following error while installing the PEGA personal edition.

 

 

Unable to connect to database -- will retry in 1 second..

 

I have already tried in installing under different directories. Still not working. Kindly help me at the earliest.
