Unable to capture response to an offer from a microsite.
We have built our application on top of Pega Marketing for Communications 8.4 We have embedded a microsite url in the clickthrough url of the action rule. We are presenting the offer on a web. Whenever the action is clicked, we expect that it will progress as per the offer flow but, we are getting the message that the offer does not exist. If we put a wait shape on the offer flow for about 2-3 minutes, we are getting the expected result. But, we want the flow to progress without the wait shape. Please suggest how to work this out.

The intend of a user would clickthrough on the action says that your action is "waiting" for a response from the user after sending the original email. What's the problem in having the wait shape in the action ? As Raghu asked, it would help if you outline the functional requirements a little bit more in detail to give the right answer.
The wait expiry would also help in you attempting to send a follow-up email with the same microsite url if need be. You will also have to determine the right amount of wait time like few day or week, as it's not practical for the end customer receiving your email to respond just in 2 to 3 minutes. The behavior what you are seeing currently is expected, as the email was sent and the action went to completed without waiting for a response.
