Truncate a portion of the column returned by report defination.
Issue with exporting report definition as export to excel won't allow you to write more than 32767 characters in a single cell.
So is there a way to truncate a portion of value returned for the column, such that we can export without issues.

Thank you so much but i am trying to truncate a dynamic text which is in the middle ,so i need the data anything before and after the text and then display it in the report.

@swarnaliD2401 Is it a specific pattern or something ? Did you go through the other function alias that is available ? You could also try two or three function alias combined. For e.g if you have a string which is 15 characters long and you want to take 1 to 5 and 10 to 15 you can use two substring function alias in a concat function alias. Can you please clarify your requirement or give some eg. so it would be easy to suggest the solution.

I think it would be feasible only with a function alias wherein based on which if key matches the text say "ABC" then the corresponding value of the key value pair has to be replaced with null no matter what value it holds.
Column is currently returned like this in report:
{"Key":"ABC","Value":"true"},{"Key":"DEF","Value":"false"}
I have to make the value null for the Key "ABC"
