Trigger on "Data-Admin-Operator-ID" doesnt trigger on login of the user.
i have a trigger created "On Save" of "Data-Admin-Operator-ID" class instance. but this doesnt trigger when the user logs into the application as many column of "pr_operators" table is updated after each log user login. for ex: last signon date/time column.
but not sure why the trigger is not getting invoked.
it does work fine when you save an operator record manually by clicking on "save" or change the Access group of an operator and "click save " it does work FINE. but why not on log-in??

What is the ruleset where you created the DeclareTrigger and the trigger activity ?
Also it is a good idea to run tracer and check where it is failing .

How can i trace with the activity itself is not getting called? the Trigger and the activity are in my application rulesets.
let me know if there is a way i can trace it? looks like this is a product bug....clearly the "data-admin-operator-ID" record gets updated when you log in to the system, then i wonder why the trigger which is defined on the same class is not invoked.??

Hi Venu,
From the tracer you should be able to see the sequence of rules being executed, else add a first step of the activity as infoForced log message and verify whether the activity is being called based on the logged message

yes, i do have log messages already and i even set-up automated email alerts from XPOLOG, so i will get email when ever a new message is logged.
its not invoked on first login to the application, but it does work when you update operator record manually.

Is your trigger ruleset in the unauthenticated access group?
