Tooltip for label on column of table layout
Is tooltip functionality of label control on column of table layout dropped in v8.2 (recommended using smart info, not recommended tooltip by helper text)? I think I could configure it in v8.1.
I just want to make sure followings:
- Is the tooltip still availabel if I have already configured it on a label control in the older version?
- Should I do any modification, change it to smart info or helper text so on?
- What should I do if I want to display help text with hovering a label control on column of table layout if the tooltip is not available in/from v8.2?

Thanks for the reply and sorry for getting back to you late. I have discussed this topic with other people and they also said the functionality might have been dropped. I will use smart tip or smart info.

Does anyone have an experience below?
When tried using smart info (smart tip) on mobile browser, the formatted text which smart info is configured with displays its control name as the header name of the column.
Do you know how it can be prevented that or how to resolve this issue?
Hi,
I could observe the similar behavior in 8.2x and 8.3x environments however, the tooltip option is displayed for 8.1x and 7.3.1 environments for column label in the table layout. Whereas in 7.1x the tooltip option is not provided.
I guess the tooltip option has been removed from 8.2x onwards.
You can try using smart tip or smart info based on your business requirement.
