Table / Grid personalization

I am having an issue with the table personalization in 8.3.3. I have followed https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/configuring-table-personalization#specifying but the Custom button is not appearing. My understanding is that once I enable personalization using Optimize checkbox and Personalize checkbox, the Show/Hide and Save View will be available. But that is not happening. Can someone please let me know where I am going wrong?

As per the email received from PegaSystems I will need help on this as this has not been clarified. The issue here is that I am not able to figure out why the personalization section is not getting added when I am selecting the same option for a table/grid. If I do that manually ( as a section on top of grid) I dont see the menu for Show/Hide ( its blank).I want to understand how to debug that and what possible rules can I check.
