System Requirements for vm image for CSA
Hello Team
I am facing very much difficulty in using the virtual image of the exercise system for Certified System Architect Course.
My System Specs
CPU - Intel i7 3540M
RAM: 6GB DDR3
I am using Virtual box to run the image. It took a lot of time in loading the Pega application.
Even after loading ,when i click on a single option, i need to wait for atleast 5-10 mins for the option to load.
It is very pathetic experience to do a single step in 10 mins.
My question: Do pega needs a SSD to work properly, or am i missing something else.?

That VM requires 4GB of RAM.
Based on your report, it seems your pc does not have enough available RAM for the VM. I recommend not running any applications on your pc so as to make at least 4GB of RAM available for the VM.

I tried that vm on an 8GB laptop with SSD. There it was working smooth.
I tested the same vm on an 8GB laptop with normal HDD. There it was performing poorly.
So in my opinion, the magic is done by SSD not the RAM.
Am i correct or is there anything more to it.?
