Suspension of campaign in mkt_work?

Hi,

   I am running Campaigns that are dependent on external data refresh.

   Is it ok to set the status in mkt_work.pystatuswork to be  "Pending-Suspend" using batch program (agent) when the refresh has not completes on time, and then sent it to "Pending-Running" after the campaign has completed?
