Initially, a simple question with answer mode as 'Freeform' of format 'Text area' is marked as required in a survey. But when the answer mode is updated to 'Custom section' with a section reference, it is not marked as a required question in survey.

No changes were done to the 'Question Page' rule where we call a when condition to make a question as required.
