Support of SMB or NFS protocols to connect to Azure File Share

Currently our application (Pega 7.3 & CRM 7.2.2) is hosted on premise and connecting multiple FTP locations. We are in the process of migrating all our application environments to Azure Cloud along with platform & CRM upgrade to version 871. We have a requirement to migrate all the local FTP locations to Azure File Share. On the Azure documentation, its mentioned that the Azure File Share locations can be accessed by either SMB or NFS protocol. Please let us know if Pega supports SMB and NFS protocols with 871. If Yes, could you please share some insights on how to connect to Azure File Share from Pega using such protocols.

I found a similar request raised by other person earlier where its been converted as a enhancement request for Pega. Refer below for the same.
