StringUtil Replace is not working in OpenSpan

I am trying to replace comma (,) from a string using stringutil Replace function but it is not replacing the character or string. Below is my configuration. Can you please let me know if anything is wrong with it?

Just remove "". PFA sample.

If you want replace ',' with space then press space bar in new value field but don't pass space in "".
