Storing more than one value in a single cell in a data table
Hi,
We have a scenario like an employee having more than one certifications.In the application we created, we are giving the user(employee) a repeating layout in UI to enter any number of certifications he have.
Our question is whether we can store these all certification names in a single cell in the row of that particular employee in the data table.How to do that?

Yes. You can store it. But from user experience prospective, it is better to store it with different cells in a grid.

Hi,
The pagelist property which you use to display the employee details itself is stored as part of the PRPC blob column in your work object table. Since you want to store multiple values(for certification) of string type, you can use value list or value group.
