Stored Procedure call in External database from Pega Cloud

I have my Transaction DB in on prem Azure cloud and currently we are in PEga 6.3(Azure Cloud) and calling stored procedures for Read write operations in the  Transaction DB.

We are planning to build a new Pega inifinity app in Pega cloud and use the existing Proecudres. Can we call the stored procedures in on prem Azure DB from pega cloud
