Stop user from typing freetext into Combo box, only allow the drop down values
Hi,
Is there any way to prevent a user from typing free text into a combo box on the windows form. we want them to only use the supplied values provided by us in the List collection?

Hi,
I am assuming here that your query is with respect to usage of "ComboBox" in the "Windows Form" in Robotics solution.
If i understand correctly here, you need to go to the properties explorer for the ComboBox you added to your windows form and then choose DropDownStyle as "DropdownList". You can find this property under "Appearence" sub section in properties explorer. Making this change will restrict the typing into the comboBox and will only display the values specified as List Collection.

Can you try using dropdown control instead of using autocomplete in combo box mode.It meets your requirement.

Thanks for the reply, i have PEGA Robotics Studio 8.0.2021.0 and do not seem to have the same options as you have shown in your screenshot, am I using a different PEGA product as i cannot see those options? I have a set of Properties for my text/combo as in the attached image
