status of enhancement request FDBK-73250

In a grid repeat layout, when a date column is formatted as dd/mmm/yyyy it is coming up in expected format in column data, however when date range filter is clicked and a date is selected from calender picker it is in the default date format of picker dd/mm/yyyy.

FDBK-73250 was already raised and its pending for a long time, is there any workaround to fix this issue
