SQL Server 2016 compatibility in google cloud

We are planning to migrate few of Pega applciation (built on Pega 7.x) to Google Cloud Platform.Those Pega application are using SQL server 2016 in On Premise Infrastructure.So it is possible to keep SQL Server 2016 in google cloud and Pega will support the SQL server 2016 hosted on Google Cloud Platform ?
