Spell Check as you type
My Client has a requirement to have Spell Check work in a Rich Text box as they type - not by clicking the built-in Pega Spell Check button.
I did find this option using custom Java code, and tried it, but it didn't work https://support.pega.com/question/auto-spell-check-feature
Next i turned off the built-in Pega Spell check, and tested to see if the Browser Spell check works.
For some reason it works OK in some fields and not others E.g
It works in the To:, Cc and Subject fields (see red wavy lines), but not in the body text box. No red wavy line appear whilst typing.
How can I get this to work? This is in Chrome, but will probably also need to work in Edge.
Ironically, the feature I need seems to work in this very text box that I'm typing in now, which I assume is based on Pega Platform! Although if I right click on a misspelled word, i only get the option for Paste rather than a list of corrections. Yay.

As this has had no replies, I'll close off the User Story I have for this and assume it's not possible and put it down to a Pega limitation. Thanks

@AlexS7887 I don't think our SME's have been given enough time to find this post which you submitted a week ago.
Although I cannot comment on why right-click only shows you a 'Paste' option when you select a highlighted word (this is based on the operating system/browser functionality, rather than Pega, as 'Paste' appears also on any other word not selected by Spellcheck. The forum UI is not Pega-specifc ) I did have a quick look to see if there are any known RTE spellcheck issues in 8.8.2

There is a known issue with SpellChecker. As of Pega 8.8.4 (coming out end October) we have support to check if spellChecker returns html incase of failure.
W.r.t your requirement for 'as you type' spellchecking, there is an open Enhancement Request:
FDBK-94796 (Automatic spell check configuration in RTE)
Automatic spell check in RTE is a common requirement for applications. In order to support this, clients are creating non-auto-generated sections with JS script. This is not possible for constellation apps. Provide the platform provides configuration to make it easy to enable.
