Specific Test IDs for controls in repeating dynamic layouts
Hi,
We are facing an issue with our automated testing. Currently we are using repeating dynamic layouts that have multiple controls in them. Each control and value needs to be indiviually identifiable.
However, in the Section editor we are not able to configure how the Test-IDs of the repeated controls should behave. In fact, it seems as they are not present at all. Only the entire DIV seems to have an ID.
My question would be, how can we make our repeated control identifiable for automated testing and interrogation?

Hello Eric,
You can use data-test-id for unit testing the repeating dynamic layouts.The attribute data-test-id is been present for each block of the repeating dynamic layout.

While the product is under development, you can ask developers to provide the unique IDs for Test ID, this Test ID is present for each rule and this will help automation engineers to locate the web element easily as a form of data-test-id in DOM structure of a web page.
