SMA Stats extraction
Hi,
I'm trying to automate the process of extracting details of my application like, what is active thread count, memory available, Pega agents running status, File listener running status etc.
These are being captured from Pega SMA manually for all 15 nodes in the production system.
I want to grab them automatically. for this - if this data is taken from Data base table(may be Pega's OOTB tables), we can write a SQL query and fetch all these statistics for health monitoring. I couldn't see any such tables related to the data that we get from SMA.
Can someone help me in identifying the tables that contain this data?

Hi Durga,
Pega Master agent write in log for every 10 min about Free memory, thread count, you can use this:

Is there any way to find other health parameters and components like file listener,Pega agents status (last run, last finish, current status etc.) so that we don't need to access SMA and check for N number of nodes & N number of Agents. If we can able to access these agents information from data base table, very helpful to automate this monitoring.

Hi,
You can also use the JMX API code. I prepared a sample java code, you can create a simple java step and run it (replace the bolded parts with your own values).
