Even after case was getting resolved the SLA was still running. We have created a SLA which at deadline time advance the flow and and there is money movement involved.
Before case resolution the goal time of SLA was running and 4-5 days after resolution also it was still triggered and deadline time was called and SLA action (advance flow) is called and money adjustment is done.
Expectation was when the case is resolved then all SLA should be resolved as well.
What i believe is if the case is not resolved with OOTB activities then yes SLA may still run. Is this is what causing issue.

Please check in case-type Delete open assignments - checkbox was enabled in the resolve stage..
If this check-box was enabled then only pega will delete all case related SLA and other unwanted information from back-end tables.. If this check box was not enable then pega will do the back-up table entries clean-up automatically, this will result in triggering SLA process after case got Resolved- also.
