Size or Length of a Report Definition
Can some one please let me know (with code) how to retrieve the size of a Report Definition in Pega 7.3.1.
How or Where on the clipboard do I look for the pxResults?. My Report Definition is shown below.
(I am running the Report Definition by itself and not as part of Work Object or a Process Flow)
I am unable to find pxResults on the on the clipboard when I (unit test or) run my Report Definition named FetchExistingReports. Although I am retrieving records, I am unable to find the same on the clipboard page of the Report Definition. I even did search on one of the properties I retrieved.

Hi Deva,
I mentioned in my post that I am unable to view the retrieved results for my Report Definition.
So I cannot even see 'pyReportContentPage' on the clipboard.

You will always has this page. To see in clipboard you need to select right thread in clipboard.

That is what I am asking. Which is the right thread for my Report Definition? HOW do I determine the right thread if I am a new to PEGA?
I ran my Report Definition and I am looking into my Report Definition thread on the clipboard and am unable to find the property 'pyReportContentPage'.

Which is the right thread for my Report Definition? HOW do I determine the right thread if I am a new to PEGA? -> Basically if you run an rule directly, lets say any activity or report definition then the data that is being stored in the clipboard for these rules will be seen in the Standard thread, as these rules are run under the standard thread. If you launch any work object then the data related to that work object can be seen in that work object specific thread. Hope that gives you some idea about the threads in clipboard and you can explore pega help to know further.

Hi Chakri,
Try looking for the property on the clipboard under 'Standard' thread rather than the actual Report Definition thread. You should see a 'pyReportContentPage' of type Code-Pega-List. When you open it, you should see a property 'pxResultCount' which is the number of records the Report Definition retrieves.
You can then save that into a property as follows.

Your solution worked. Surprising that I need to look into the 'Standard' Thread on the clipboard even when I just unit test the Report Definition.
