To Show a column in report definition as link in pega 7
Hi All,
Iam looking for ways to show a column as link in report defintion in pega and on click of that link/ Open URL in Window actin should be triggered.
I have checked the control reporting_link but when placed it in column format of report definition. Unable to pass parameters to that control.

Can you try the following steps?
1. Configure a Repeat Grid layout in a section. Point the Repeat Grid to a Report Definition. and make the grid sourced dynamically.
2. Set one of the columns, using Link control, to open url in new tab/window.

Hi Susan,
But users can modify filters to the report and also can export the results to excel. hence, looking for configuring it in report defintion only

Hi Gayatri,
I have tried to use custom section in report defintion. But on click of the link i need to show the attachments related to that work object in new scree/window.
I have used trigger action ( Open url in window) / Harness( New documet).
- While using Open url in window. when clciked on first time it is showing proper attachment. When clicked next time , it is not showing any attachments for the same row/different row.
- when used harness(with new document).Each time it is working fine.but it is retrieving all atttachments , i have checked in tracer as well(doUIActionHarness Pega OOTB activity is creating the new page: pyDisplayHarness and the value iam passing/or current page is not going).
