SFTP using private key alone

I want to connect to a ftp server by making use of connect-ftp method. I have the private RSA key for the server connection. Just wanted to know the procedure on how I can use that? Thank you!

SFTP support is officially built into the Connect FTP feature as of Pega 7.1.9. Pega 7.1.8 introduced the similarly-named but incompatible FTPS protocol.
Ideally, any customer who wants to use SFTP or FTPS would upgrade to Pega 7.1.9 or later in order to avoid writing their own java code, as Pega's built-in implementations are well-tested and much easier to integrate into Applications.
what is your prpc version? Believe the functionality is supported OOTB starting 7.1.8 (check the online help in that case), otherwise, follow this link: https://pdn.pega.com/how-configure-ssh-ftp-sftp-and-ftp-secure-ftps-pega-applications.
