Setting up Web Chat Channel in Pega 8.5

I have setup the Web chat channel in Personal Edition 8.6 by following the steps mentioned- without any issue but while i am trying to implement the same in our application which runs in Pega 8.5 and is already live- i am facing the following error:

In the configuration tab, while i am trying to add a case type (existing) and trying to save- it is not retained after the save is done, although i didnt get any error while submitting the modal window.

I have attached a screenshot of our App-stack. Can anyone please guide me about where the issue is. There's no error in tracer.
