Setting up Apache Ignite Servers
We are thinking about switching from Hazelcast to Apache Ignite but have some unanswered questions that apply specifically to integration with Pega. We will be running Pega 7.4.
How much memory do we need for our Ignite servers?
What version of Ignite does Pega require?
Can we run Ignite on Weblogic instead of Tomcat? It is supported but Ignite, but is it also supported by Pega?
How many Ignite servers do we need per production cluster? Documentation says at least 3, but how do we determine if we require more?

Hi,
Version of Apache ignite server is License Version 2.0.2.Memory is 4-8GB or more.3.Ignite can be on weblogic and it is mentioned in Pega 7.4 installation guide:

Thank you for your help. Couple more questions.
1. Our production clusters have 84 nodes each. Do you have any recommendations on how many Ignite JVMs we will require?
2. Is the in memory data storage for Ignite enough, or do we need a hard disk storage as well? If all Ignite servers go down at the same time, will we lose data that Pega requires?
3. Will Pega support integration with the most recent version of Ignite (2.4)?

As per third party license document of pega 7.4, ignite version is Apache License Version 2.0
