Set StartDate as a present date
Hello,
How to set the start date property should be the present date only while doing validations.
I have checked inside the validation rule but there we can only set past or future date, there is no option to set the present date.
Can anyone help?

This is reply to all.
Actually I have used "@(Pega-RULES:DateTime).CurrentDateTime()" this as a default value to set the current system time. So it worked.
But thanx for your replies and efforts.

If I understand correctly you need the currentDate(today's Date). Probably you can use an edit validate rule.
In this edit validate rule you can write a java step which will compare the input Date Property with today's date.

This way you can perform validation.Please let me know in case I misunderstood something.

Hi Shweta,
Suggestion: If the user is not allowed to select any other date except the current date, why wouldn't you make the field read-only and display the current date.
Regardless, you can use expression evaluates to true and write a custom condition.
Eg: !@pxDateTimeisPastOrFuture(DateProperty, true)
