Set default datetime value to next 30 minute interval
Is there any easy way to set default value of a property to next 30th minute interval?
For example if the time is 9:18AM, I need to set the default value of property to 9:30AM

You could use @addToNow(0,0,0,0) function to achieve your logic.
This function will add days, hours, minutes, seconds to the current time.
- If newly system needs to initialize value to a property then use this function inside DT (or) Activity, it will add the time which you are providing inside the function parameter to the current date time and will update the property value.
- If Based on Property A value - Property B value time needs to be updated, then have a declare expression which will monitor Property A value changes and inside Declare Expression use the same function to update the Property B value.

Try to use a simple Decision Table in which you will pass the current minutes part of time and in return get the expected 30th minute interval. eg:
Current time's minute part is > 01 and <= 30 the return 30 so that at 9:10 (or) 9:29 you will pass 10 or 29 and DT will return 30. Similarly if time's part > 30 and < 59 then return 00.
