Set the client_indentifier in oracle
Hi everyone,
We are working on a tomcat/oracle environment, and we want to set the client_indentifier in the oracle userenv in every pega transaction (for oracle trigger, procedure, etc). Is there a way to intercept the db connection on every transaction to set this?

You can not intercept the DB connection through Pega. Depends on your requirements, you may achieve this through the vendor's own feature like logon trigger.

If you use weblogic, oracle 12c+ provides a weblogic option to set client_identifier https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1212/wls/JDBCA/ds_security.htm#JDBCA667. and https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/apirefs.1211/e24401/taskhelp/jdbc/jdbc_datasources/EnableCredentialMapping.html
