We've to evaluate the feasibility of the integration between our web PEGA application and an Android-native mobile App (the App is a third-party one, NOT generated leveraging PEGA mobile channel). In particular, at a certain point of the PEGA application's case processing, PEGA must send a push notification to the mobile app. I tried to search for some documentation or guidelines, but I was not able to find any useful information.

For sure we cannot use the "Push notification" smart shape, because it sends notifications only to mobile app within the same application context. The only way seems for us to integrate with Firebase, but I can't find how to do it. 

Does anyone have done this integration before? Can you please share some documents or architectural insights?
